It has been a year since the passing of Anna Douglas, the founder and Guiding Teacher of Insight Meditation Tucson and a co-founder of Spirit Rock Meditation Center. We are deeply grateful for the Dharma that she shared and cultivated here in Tucson.
In honor of Anna Douglas, we would like to share a short video. Among Anna's final wishes were that part of her ashes be placed at Spirit Rock, and some of her ashes be spread in the Ganges River in India. Tempel Smith was able to complete the more challenging part of this wish, and the ceremony was recorded on the Ganges River. At the end of the video is a recording of Anna's voice taken from her last sharing in her final teachings in A Year to Live course. She passed away 3 months later.
Led by Senior Dharma Teacher Howard Cohn, this special weekend retreat aims to strengthen our minds and soften our hearts. Meditators of all experience levels are welcome.
