Finding Balance
How do we hold the fullness of our experience with balance and kindness?
When meeting the uncertainty of these times it can be difficult to be present with what arises in our experience. We can lose balance if we are coming from a place of fear. We may find ourselves caught in a narrowed view, focusing on what is wrong rather than opening up to a larger perspective. It is possible to bring more balance to our practice by cultivating awareness of the places that are neutral or pleasant in our direct experience. We can come home to a more embodied presence, building our capacity to hold whatever manifests with more ease and equanimity, creating more stability and resilience in the mind, heart, and body.
Join Dharma Leader Terry Magee and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner Barbara Collier for a nourishing day of practice in the support of one another. The day will consist of sitting and walking meditation, Dharma talk, and mindful exploration together with time for questions and comments.
